About the awards
Conceived in 2014 as an independent annual stock take of corporate finance activities, the Corporate Finance Awards have been refined with expert advice to their current tally of 18 categories. The aim of the Corporate Finance Awards is to be the most important set of awards for the corporate finance profession and deal making – in all their forms.
An awards competition is only as good as the entries received, however, and the Corporate Finance Awards will actively help companies to define their entries and tune them to the most relevant categories. There is a page of Useful Advice, which entrants will find helpful in completing their entries.
The closing date for entries is April 30, each year. We wish you every success with your entries for 2018 and welcome your calls to the Awards office if you have any questions. Remember, the process described in your entry could have started years earlier, but for 2018 the project must have been active or come to fruition during the eligibility period that runs from July 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017– an eighteen-month period.
Judging of the Awards will take place in May and the short-list of finalists will be published online and through any media partners no later than May 31, each year.
The date for the Awards ceremony will be in mid September, though the venue has yet to be confirmed. You won’t have to wait for the short-list to be published to reserve your places for the dinner and ceremony at what will be a most important networking event for the profession this and every year. Reserve as soon as you wish and you don’t need to pay until table bookings formally commence on May 1, 2018.
